- TAKASE, AKIBuy$17.74
Aki Takase's phenomenal technique and her talent for improvisation is well known, as is her love for the jazz classics. She has already paid tribute to Fats Waller and recorded with saxophonist Silke Eberhard on an "Ornette Coleman Anthology." Now she takes a close look at the arguably most influential pianist/composer of the jazz tradition: Duke Ellington.
- LEWIS, BLACK JOEBuy$11.09
Electric Slave kicks off with in-your-face opener Skulldiggin, which showcases Joe howling in true Joe-Lewis-fashion all the while highlighting just how ballsy Lewis can really get. Of the album title, Lewis says, "Electric Slave is what people are today with their faces buried in their iPhones and the only way to hold a conversation is through text. The next step is to plug it in to your damned head.

- ERICKSON, ROKYBuy$12.43
Though it was produced at a time when Roky was struggling to cope with drugs and life on the outside, he hit form on his first post Elevators album-proper, 1981's The Evil One. It's a masterful collection of songs about zombies, demons, vampires and, yes, even the `Creature With The Atom Brain'. These tracks, inspired by schlock sci-fi and horror movies and colored by Roky's distinctive, high-pitched vocal and squealing guitar, are among the maverick performer's best.
- VOLCANO CHOIRBuy$13.31
Repave comes four years after the first Volcano Choir album, Unmap, provided a glimpse into the collaborative mindset between a singer and a band that inspired him. Ideas were minted, written at a distance and realized in the studio; edges sanded back and flaps tucked in, the craftsmanship of the endeavor bearing evidence of the craft itself, and the technology used to assemble it.
- ZOLA JESUS/JG THIRWELL/MIVOS QUARTETBuy$13.31
Nika Roza Danilova was offered an opportunity to perform at one of the most prestigious modern art museums in the world, NY's Guggenheim. Rather than doing her standard Zola Jesus electronic set she decided she wanted to work with legendary industrial pioneer JG Thirlwell (Foetus) to do the arrangements!
I HATE MUSIC
I Hate Music, is Majesty Shredding's dark twin. Its similarly aggressive and every bit as energetic. That title isnt tongue-in-cheek, but its really more a question than a statement: When youre 20, lazy co-workers and romantic missteps number among your biggest worries; two decades later, lifes bigger questions knock louder and louder, demanding answers.

FROM BEER TO ETERNITY
From Beer To Eternity was written during December, 2012, prior to the death of MINISTRY's guitarist, Mike Scaccia. "This was one of the most creative MINISTRY tracking sessions ever. The band was on fire! We were having fun, we were coming up with great ideas and experimenting with everything we've ever wanted to do, from STONES-y blues to dub and, of course, heavy guitar-based rock. It was too easy. No fighting, no problems. Nothing goes that well without the floor eventually falling out," - Al Jourgensen
